Shallow Man

Scarlet frocks curving lust,

Guilty lips and glittering trusts,

Amber locks on talcum dew

reflecting off the Shimmering hue.

Blushing peaches, bruising skin,

Scented napes on blooming sins,

teasing allures, silently weep,

The reign of beauty, only skin deep.

[What is that which attracts a man to a woman?

Scarlet dresses accentuating the female shape, luscious lips speaking coquettish volumes. Twinkling eyes sparkling with make up, something of such beauty that compels a man to want to trust a beautiful woman. Golden hair on dewy cheeks, freshly powdered, reflecting the light of the material world. Blushing cheeks ;) and bruised skin (think hard!) scented necks on sinful bosom. Though outwardly beautiful, a woman weeps, the reign of beauty only skin deep!]

A man never trusts a beautiful woman. especially not, some one, fitting the first few lines of the descriptions.
He is not even compelled, to want to trust, even after a hundred such protestations of fidelity; the man is attracted by the promise of defilement, by the need for possessive jealousy,by the possibility that this-Scarlett-Johansson could rip his heart in million little pathetic pieces...
the beauty is skin deep, the man is shallow, and he is a masochistic beast. Seeking a state of poena damni- the harrowing and enriching pain of loss.
Or so my bipolar experience suggests.
